My kids have been anticipating this trip all year. It was Brady's first time on the annual camping trip. The kids had a blast! Some of their favorite memories included Dutch Wonderland, swimming at the pool, fishing, cooking s'mores, and searching for Moose Tracks ice cream.
One funny story my parents shared with me happened at the swimming pool. Apparently, the girls had made friends at the camp ground and would swim with them at the pool. Isabel played with a girl and Chloe a boy (surprise, surprise...). Anyway, after swimming, my mom asked Chloe what the boy's name was. Chloe shrugged and then replied, "right away". My mom puzzled, asked again, what is his name?? Chloe said, "I think it's "right away" as that is what his mom is always calling to him! My mom and Ron just laughed. Apparently, they must be calling and telling the boy it is time to go, right away! Funny girl:-)
